Summary:
Bifurca was in charge of collecting all the spent catalysts located in the catalytic warehouse. All the material was located around the warehouse, stored in drums on pallets, exposed to the elements. Some drums were broken, others with water, partially covered with sludge. Catalytic converters located on terrace D and inside the plant were also collected. They were transported to the bifurca sheds to be dried, segregated, weighed and identified to be disposed of outside.
